By training functional movements, you get the best bang for your buck. You will learn to bend, squat, lunge, hinge, push, pull, rotate and move in all planes of motion, while moving your body as a compete unit.
I get it, it's seems a lot easier and "safer" to just follow machine to machine, do some "cardio" and call it a day. The problem with this approach is that you're not a machine. You're a human being with various joints and limbs that can move in a variety of directions which machines will never touch.
The key is learning how to move and train in these directions safely. That is exactly what this program delivers! It gives you a researched based plan to optimize your time in the gym and deliver the best results!
(Includes the use of weights and bodyweight. It is suitable for someone starting their fitness journey, or getting back into it and in need of the best possible routine for building total body strength.)
